Eucalyptus tree

Eucalyptus tree
Kangaroo is bouncing around a Eucalyptus, a fast-growing tree native to Australia. It is also known as a gum tree due to the sap it produces. Eucalyptus are among the tallest trees in the world and have been known to reach up to 80 metres! Eucalyptus oil produced by the tree is strong smelling and a natural disinfectant. It is toxic in large quantities. It is used in very small amounts in cough sweets and cold remedies due to its soothing properties. On hot days in Australia, a blue haze can be seen over Eucalyptus trees as its oil evaporates.
