Music for Starters training courses
Music For Starters supplies resources and expert training for early years professionals and organisations. The music organisation provides training to practitioners in order to give children the very best start in music and education as a whole.
Music Start has announced 3 new courses (one in Birmingham and two in London) for the 2008 autumn term. The courses are aimed at early years practitioners wishing to use music more effectively in their setting. The courses at Music for Starters are led by Sarah Carling, a Director of Music For Starters and also a Senior Advisory Teacher with the Voices Foundation whose work ranges from the foundation stage into primary music education. Sarah has been a teacher and an advisory teacher for primary music for many years and has provided in-service training for teachers and early years’ professionals in many of the education authorities in the UK.
The organisation also also runs tailor-made courses to support individual settings, which can be a cost-effective way of training larger groups of practitioners.
