This CD from children's entertainer Mr Ray, has something for children and their parents. Having played with Bruce Springsteen and Meatloaf, Mr Ray knows what it means to win over adult audiences too, and he's created an album full of songs for children that parents won't find grating against their ear drums. The multi-talented Mr Ray has a trusty band of junior singers on this album and plays just about every other instrument himself.
Tracks such the opening Roy G Biv offer up great melodies and thoughtful stories that will get little ones singing and thinking about things at the same time. Swish opens up with some great guitar strumming and a good helping of scratching too. The lyrics are memorable as well, with tracks such as Creepy Crawlers making you giggle while you sing along.
