If your little one has just started playing their first keyboard or piano, this DVD set could help them on their way. Talented Tots has released a new series of interactive DVDs entitled 'Learn to Play the Piano with Mimi'.

Each DVD is presented on-screen by a fun, friendly character called Mimi the Musical Clown, who lives in Piano Land. Complete with a voice-over, Mimi takes the viewer on a magical musical journey that is fun, educational and of course musical!

These DVDs are available to purchase separately or as a complete set. Stage 1 includes a set of multi-coloured stickers used to identify notes on the keyboard, whilst Stage 2 continues the musical journey. By the end of Stage 3, the viewer should be ready to play the piano at Grade 1 standard!

In addition to the main video, each DVD includes a fun, interactive game to test what the viewer has learnt, together with sheet music in PDF form.

(Owning a piano or keyboard to accompany these DVDs is preferable, but not essential. A small, two-octave keyboard of the kind available in most toys shops is sufficient to learn and practise the basics. The DVDs are great as fun, educational tools to have in the home to help support private or school-based piano lessons, or simply as an inspiring introduction to the joys of making music).
