Cherry Pie
The Music Box is a comprehensive programme of arts work with under 5's, and is run by Hackney Music Development Trust (HMDT). The Music Box offers participants an opportunity to explore the foundations of music in a fun and interactive way, and spans a range of initiatives, including family music making workshops, training of nursery staff and the creation of a range of resource packs.
Cherry Pie is a book from the Music Box's range of resources and packed full of traditional and multi-cultural songs from around the world. This diverse resource pack and CD consists of a collection of songs from countries around the globe that are suitable for teaching under 5's. Little ones can get singing and making music with Cherry Pie, and the book has been popular with teachers in places as far away as Australia.
