Melody Monkey's Marvellous Music Box is designed to be used by early years workers and carers with or without formal musical training. The brightly coloured box contains puppets, a variety of percussion instruments for little hands, together with a book of songs, games and musical stories suitable for young voices.

All the songs, games and stories are contained on a training CD included in every box, so that leaders do not have to read music to learn the songs. The activities range from the simplest songs and musical games to more complicated melodies. They help children to find and use their singing voices, to develop musical skills and foster an enthusiasm for music.

Here are three songs and activities from Melody Monkey's Marvellous Music Box. 'Can You Jump' allows children to choose new verses and can be played with instruments, 'Whispering Voice' encourages children to take turns and 'I Wiggle' is great for calming down children after a lively song!
